Police bodycam video shows the moments right before an Oregon officer fatally shoots the parent of a student outside of a middle school following a confrontation.
The fatal shooting happened Jan. 11 at Cascade Middle School in Eugene, following a custodial dispute involving 30-year-old Charles Landeros. The video was released Thursday after the Lane County district attorney ruled that the officer’s use of deadly force was justified.
His leftist pals were protesting the school after the shooting and calling for the disarming of police.

The Body cam completely exonerates the officers, but the media is still trying to claim this was just a "custody dispute" gone bad.
In my opinion, this was a leftist communist who was going to do something bad because he didn't get his way.
The police did a great job.
Also, note the hypocrisy of the left.
They count this as a “school shooting” on their school shooting tracker, even though this was one of their people.
They are also using this to call for the disarming of police, never mind that one of their commies was at the school with a gun with the intent to do harm.
It also shows that having good people with a gun, on the scene, who aren’t afraid to act, is the ONLY way to stop terrorists like this.

This is obviously BS. Nobody would have brought a weapon to a gun free zone. That would be against the law. The video must have been photoshopped.

So when did the perp get shot?
I saw where he pulled the gun on the LEO and tried to shoot him and then was tackled. When the other LEO got up, the guy wasn’t moving.
Reports I read said through the temple.
During the struggle. Can’t tell for sure which of the officers was able to shoot him. He fired at least twice at the officer who was further away. Had the other officer not pushed that gun toward the ground, it could have been a sad outcome. He only missed by a few inches.

The details of this homicide are still largely unknown. What is known is that Charlie had recently enrolled their daughter at Cascade Middle school as the custodial parent. The school contacted Charlie regarding their child’s safety, and Charlie went to the school to ensure the safety of this child. We also know that Charlie was shot multiple times by Eugene Police Officer(s), several feet in front of the main entrance to the school.
The family of the deceased requests that the community recognize that deaths like Charlie’s are neither accidental or uncommon. “Charlie was the beating heart of every project they were involved in, the beating heart of our community,” said Ariel, Charlie’s partner. “We will need to learn how to regrow from that, because Charlie’s reach was so big.”
While people of color comprise 38.5 percent of the U.S. population, they make up 51.5 percent of those killed by police. In spite of this staggering statistic, there is no national database that police departments must submit a record to when they complete an investigation after an officer shoots a civilian.
Despite law enforcement’s willful ignorance, in the last several years there have been far too many headlines describing people of color being shot and killed by police. The lesson learned: the experience of dealing with police in America is different for whites and nonwhites. Charlie was of mixed Filipino and Mexican descent.
Unlike the investigation into the police shooting death of fellow veteran Brian Babb, the family demands that this investigation be transparent, unbiased and thorough.

If that’s the main entrance to this middle school, they certainly have piss-poor security. It’s no wonder shooters have no trouble accessing these killing fields.
