Friday evening on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin gave his perspective on the deal to end the partial government shutdown announced by President Trump earlier that day.
Levin explained that he wants to see what kind of negotiations come out of the next three weeks and noted that the driving force behind today’s announcement was the “weak underbelly” of GOP lawmakers “peeling off in the Senate.”

We can expect the same weak GOP Senators to peel off every time. It’s disgusting really.
I think Trump has lined up the Dems to help him feed the fat lady (Emergency Powers). The Dems will try more tricks over the next 3 weeks. Their MSM pets will help carry them. At some point, it will be clear Dems are not going to play or negotiate so cue that fat lady.
Trump will have that fat lady singing because the Dems will have left zero other options. Let it go to court, he has the right to do it. The govt will be open and the wall will get built. At some point Pelosi will turn her attention to the NEXT budget and there will be more battles.

I think that there will be border security funding that leaves discretion up to DHS how best to allocate it, and that in the end some of it will be used on barriers.
If that’s worth a 35 day shutdown, I really don’t know. Seems like that could have been done a while ago.
I don’t think Trump is a good negotiator, I think he’s a WWE heel who plays it for laughs, and doesn’t really have any idea what he’s doing.

Well at the moment the bottom line is not one penny for the wall. Will someone explain to me why Trump didn’t dig on this last spring when we still had the House and Primary season was coming? Every thing he has done is meaningless if the invasion isn’t stopped now because it will all be overturned 1/20/21 if the Rats win.

well if he doesn’t know what he’s doing but leveraged his businesses etc to live well and raise all his kids for the lifestyle they have and has helped many people out along the way out of his own spirit of generosity and help people in need -what do you call all that? doesn’t that take good negotiating and navigating situations and circumstances?

The fight for border security continues. Patton didn’t quit when after weeks of bombardment and fighting he learned couldn’t take the fortifications at Metz.
He went around Metz and kept going.
