Unless he is going to tell the courts what’s what an emergency is a waste of time. The shutdown is the way to go. Other alternatives, shut down all the borders, ground all flights. Inconvenience everyone. Sounds like an emergency to me.

Anyone who thinks that an emergency declaration to build the wall wouldn't be IMMEDIATELY stayed by the 9th Circus Court of Appeals is kidding themselves. Pelosi and Schumer have someone on standby to file the paperwork camped outside the court as I type.
Yes, the bad guys are the ones that say Oh no, don’t question or criticize Trump! And others that say Trust The Plan. This is the choice, stand up and speak up. Let Trump hear our voices, else find a safe space and be silent. Criticizing Trump is okay, it is fine, deal with it. No one is saying that we won’t vote for him. No one is saying they’d prefer Pelosi or Clinton or whoever. The point is we must speak up, else we are okay with repeated Never Agains that come and go. We need Trump to find his balls back, to stand firm. He’s made promises that he needs to keep. Stupid are those that say Be Quiet.
