Newly surfaced video shows Native American activist Nathan Phillips explicitly claimed he was a "Vietnam Vet" -- not merely a "Vietnam times veteran" or a "Vietnam veteran times" as he's stated in the past.
In a video Phillips shared to his Facebook page on January 3, 2018, he stated plainly, "I'm a Vietnam Vet."

Fonda was also a Vietnam vet, she played for the opposing team.
Looks like Big Chief Meth Mouth be heap big liar!
Didnt make it 5 seconds. Projectile Vomitorium ALERT!!!
Oopsie.
The video shows he is lying twice and telling the truth (barely) once. He lies about being a Vietnam vet. Then says it was “peacetime”, then lies about the box being checked for “in theatre”. He’s basically convinced himself of his own lies except when his senility occasionally allows the truth to slip out.
The common convention is to use the phrase “Vietnam Vet” for those that were in country and/or saw combat during the war. The phrase “Vietnam Era Vet” is commonly used to denote those who served but were not in country and did not see combat.
Perhaps Nathan does not understand the difference?

After four years in the Reserves (all Stateside), he was discharged “For the Good of the Service” as a Private. He had three AWOLs, so he had probably been barred from reenlisting.
I think if we look into the 42 years since then, we will likely find nothing but more of the same poor performance and moral turpitude.
He’s just a bullshitting boozer, who has been nothing but a loser and a troublemaker his whole life.
I’m not saying he’s a lazy lying thieving meth head, I’m asking the question. Could he be a lazy, lying, thieving meth head? He resembles a lazy, lying, thieving meth head. Plus, a lot of people are saying he’s a lazy, lying, thieving meth head.
Chief Firewater enlisted as Nathaniel Richard Stanard, btw.
Chief Lying Sack-O-Shit
Years ago, I worked with a guy who had a slightly crazed uncle who’d spent maybe six weeks in the Marines. The Marines let him go because of mental issues. The thing was that he went in around the last couple of months that the war was underway. A decade after this event, the slightly crazed uncle (probably due to Paranoid Schizophrenia) had adapted to a Vietnam vet wardrobe...he had some storyline of getting finished with boot-camp and getting shipped off to Nam. In his mind, he believed all of this (wasn’t a hoax or intentional).
I look at Nathan Phillips and kinda wonder if maybe he might be a nutcase who just took this onto the next level.
How in the world did Blumenthal EVER BECOME A SENATOR??
How in the world did Blumenthal EVER BECOME A $iNATOR??
The same way Obama became a $inator: The Deep Pockets of their Deep State Supporters, dead voters and illegal voters.
Obama illegally posted opponents divorce docs
Yeah, clearly fully-qualified to be a US Senator!
Copy your /sarc, but I'm sure that Nathan is banking on most people not understanding the difference.
I have read through the link on your homepage several times. I appreciate your patriotism and commitment to the oath you took and fought for and to the dedication to your brothers.
I would encourage you to consider your comment just a reservist.
The price that resverist Marines pay when they fight and die in combat is the same as a Marine from the fleet.
One of those just a reservist who paid the ultimate price, his father posts on here regularly and Im sure you could understand how your comment would seem as though you have a lesser respect for his sacrifice which I doubt is the case.
Chief shitbag in the story above is a liar that should shamed for the rest of his miserable life for lying about serving in VIetman completely disrespecting and belittling those who actually did, not to mention the dishonor he continues to give those who died there.
I would personally punch his filthy mouth given the opportunity and serve my time for it with joy.
Take care and thanks for your commitment and continuing to honor those you served with. I read every link and considered every man listed.
