The video shows he is lying twice and telling the truth (barely) once. He lies about being a Vietnam vet. Then says it was “peacetime”, then lies about the box being checked for “in theatre”. He’s basically convinced himself of his own lies except when his senility occasionally allows the truth to slip out.

The common convention is to use the phrase “Vietnam Vet” for those that were in country and/or saw combat during the war. The phrase “Vietnam Era Vet” is commonly used to denote those who served but were not in country and did not see combat.

Perhaps Nathan does not understand the difference?

Native American activist Nathan Phillips
Not a VN vet and actually was just a weekend warrior, i.e. reservist.
He was also a $hitbird ... got busted so many times he was still a private (E-1), after 4 years.

After four years in the Reserves (all Stateside), he was discharged “For the Good of the Service” as a Private. He had three AWOLs, so he had probably been barred from reenlisting.

I think if we look into the 42 years since then, we will likely find nothing but more of the same poor performance and moral turpitude.

He’s just a bullshitting boozer, who has been nothing but a loser and a troublemaker his whole life.

I’m not saying he’s a lazy lying thieving meth head, I’m asking the question. Could he be a lazy, lying, thieving meth head? He resembles a lazy, lying, thieving meth head. Plus, a lot of people are saying he’s a lazy, lying, thieving meth head.

He would be a Vietnam era veteran but didn’t serve in country.

Everyone needs to go to this twitter post and take a screen shot.

Native American activist Vincent Schilling states: "The Native man is Nathan Phillips, an Omaha keeper of a sacred pipe and a Vietnam Veteran."

Vincent Schilling: Nathan Phillips is a Vietnam Veteran

Vincent Schilling changed this article to now say Nathan Phillips is a Vietnam-era veteran.

Nathan Phillips, Omaha, is a Vietnam-era Veteran who hosts a sacred pipe ceremony at Arlington, was taunted in D.C.

Here is evidence Vincent Schilling changed his article:

Native American activist Vincent Schilling altered article to claim Nathan Phillips is 'Vietnam-era' veteran
