South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg entered the 2020 race for president on Wednesday, announcing his intentions with a video featuring scenes of him and his husband, Chasten, cooking and playing with their dog, Buddy.

Should Buttigieg win his long-shot bid for the Democratic nomination, he will become the first nominee of a major political party who publicly identifies as gay. If he goes on to defeat President Donald Trump, it'd be a historic win.

James Buchanan is the only President who never married (supposedly he was too heart-broken after his fiancee died to consider marrying anyone else) but he was suspected of being a homosexual.

Fillmore married at the age of 26 and had a son and a daughter. Pierce married when he was about 29 and had three sons, all of whom died as children. Well, I honestly hope this person has some idea of what to really say about the executive office, because if not, then there’s reason to worry. My current issue with most politicians is the fact that most politicians are fine with letting the United States be taken advantage of on the world stage, not to mention other policies as well.
