A married gay man is running for president. That's a big deal.

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg entered the 2020 race for president on Wednesday, announcing his intentions with a video featuring scenes of him and his husband, Chasten, cooking and playing with their dog, Buddy.

Should Buttigieg win his long-shot bid for the Democratic nomination, he will become the first nominee of a major political party who publicly identifies as gay. If he goes on to defeat President Donald Trump, it'd be a historic win.

He’s not married. He only thinks he is. And if he thought he had wings he would think he could fly.

And if Trump butt-slams this guy (metaphorically speaking of course) it’ll also be an historic win. It will be the very first time a gay man was crushed in a presidential election. Woohoo!!!...Nothing like “being on the right side of history” as Leftists like to say.

My faulty memory. Pictured him right—just guessed the name wrong.

So you have no problem enabling and encouraging sin and perversion. Marriage is between a man and a woman; anything else is an abomination.

Nope, not Virginia.Yes,the northern part of the state is thick with recipients of government checks. But,in contrast, the entire state of Maryland is just one big suburb of DC and that's why it's lost forever.

OTOH, a fag Presidential candidate wouldn't bring anyone out in VA that didn't vote for ILLary but it would bring out opponents.

Remember, the parts of Virginia that are south of DC are still "the South".

The truth is I’m more concerned with people’s values than with their sexual orientation.

So you think one has nothing to do with the other?

James Buchanan is the only President who never married (supposedly he was too heart-broken after his fiancee died to consider marrying anyone else) but he was suspected of being a homosexual.

Fillmore married at the age of 26 and had a son and a daughter. Pierce married when he was about 29 and had three sons, all of whom died as children. That hasn't kept The New York Times from asserting that Barbara Pierce Bush, the wife of George H. W. Bush, was a direct descendant of Franklin Pierce (she was a distant cousin).

I’ve worked alongside gays and would trust them no more or less than anyone else. And, yeah, their values were just fine. I’ve also known plenty of lesbians, and was fond of the femmes, terrified of the dykes, some of whom were more masculine than I was. LOL

Well, I honestly hope this person has some idea of what to really say about the executive office, because if not, then there’s reason to worry. My current issue with most politicians is the fact that most politicians are fine with letting the United States be taken advantage of on the world stage, not to mention other policies as well.
