Superbugs are known by names such as:

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
Clostridium difficile (C.Diff)
Vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE)
Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) and Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP)
Necrotizing fasciitis, the flesh-eating bacterial disease
