House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Wednesday that Democrats will not authorize President Donald Trump to give his State of the Union in the House chamber until the partial government shutdown ends.
The California Democrat's letter to Trump escalates a standoff over the annual address hours after the president said he would give the speech in the House chamber next week as planned. Earlier this month, Pelosi urged him to reschedule the speech during a partial government shutdown.

Make the cutout of her with the same face she had at last years SOTU speech
He only need to call a joint session of Congress starting at noon the day of his speech. That would resolve all legal nuance.
However, that does not mean that everyone would show up at the speech. There are some Dims from some districts that would get away with being absent and their constituency would praise them for it.
But that empty chair over Trumps left shoulder on the teevee will not play well for Nancy.
He should simply give the SOU to the American people in a very large public venue and invite the Congress to either show up or watch it on TV.
No matter what Pelosi does now, she looks like sh!t to 70% of the electorate.

I’m seriously concerned about Pelosi’s mental status. She obviously is having some psychological issues. Delusion, aggression, etc. Perhaps it’s time to remove her from the House as she could be a danger to her country. Where are the men in the white jackets when you need them?
Do it in the senate. Have VP Pence and Leader McConnell sitting behind. Do not give advance copy to Democrats or media. No Pelosi. Being out of the spotlight will crush her.

I’m happy you posted this; called into Hannity’s show, got a call back after Pelousy did the cancellation, then Hannity repeated exactly what I told Kylie what I wanted to talk about without so much as a “by your leave”. Kinda pissed me off but at least it got talked about.
She has stepped in crap on this. This will damage the Rats, help Trump.
Pelousy is obviously suffering from infantile “I’m a gonna take my ball and go home” tantrum syndrome, as well as dementia. It’s dangerous to leave a position of great power in her demented hands.

Glad you took the initiative to contact Hannity, no matter who it is that gets the credit. Every little bit of pressure on the slime in DC helps, and you never know if it might be something you’ve done for the cause that tips the balance.
