Unless I am mistaken, nowhere do they say they were WRONG. Only that they were guilty of “piling on”.
The editor Frankovich was referenced in the article, but it was a group apology. Has this POS issued a personal apology or is he hiding behind the group apology?
Their apology was convoluted and self-forgiving. Their initial knee-jerk reaction — that the kid’s “spit on the cross” — is what they truly believe. They are in the Beltway Bubble just like the MSM reporters. They don’t have much stomach to fight liberals. They view their role as policing conservatives.
