The unidentified physicians were responsible for the womans care, Hacienda HealthCare said in a statement
One doctor was suspended and another resigned from a long-term care facility in Arizona after a woman in a vegetative state gave birth there last month, the facility said Monday.
The unidentified physicians were responsible for the womans care, Hacienda HealthCare said in a brief statement reported by NBC News.
The companys former CEO, Bill Timmons, resigned on Jan. 7, with its board of directors saying it would accept nothing less than a full accounting of this absolutely horrifying situation.
The woman, 29, and a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe, has been at the privately-owned facility for roughly a decade. She almost drowned when younger and is non-verbal and incapable of moving on her own. The woman gave birth to a baby boy on Dec. 29.
Whoever raped this poor woman needs to be put away underneath the jail.
The investigation shouldn’t be that hard. Start with DNA tests of all the males at the facility, then focus on the ones that quit rather than comply.
Family says she was not in a coma
US News ranks this facility as a 2 out of 5

I am guessing its rating is going to drop a bit further.
Mike Schiavo, the Coward Brothers Bush and Florida media outlets are experts. They’ll be able to tell us.
Precisely. Someone— start with the staff and former staff within the conception date range. Eliminate, or not any of them, then the guest register. This is really a horrific thing for a family to experience.
What kind of monster, aside from being a rapist— would attack a vegetative state female.
“What kind of monster, aside from being a rapist would attack a vegetative state female.”
This IS rape, by definition.
OTOH, you’ve got to give them some credit for not aborting the baby and throwing it in the trash.
True. I wonder whatever happened to him?..................
No DNA testing in 1967. Its a different story now.
Someone who cannot even fight back—... the extra special extended sadistic monster rapist. That’s what I meant— rape is bad enough— someone who would do this to a helpless patient— well it kind of makes one want them found and medieval punishment applied. Not a lifetime of rehab in prison.
Thanks,
excellent points.
Time for a pair of pliers and a blow torch....
