House Republicans are up in arms over a plan by the new Democratic chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee that could abolish the panel’s anti-terrorism subcommittee and replace it with one that will focus in part on President Trump’s business interests and how they affect U.S. foreign policy.
The reorganization eyed by new committee Chairman Eliot Engel, New York Democrat, was first reported by The New Yorker.
“I am disappointed with [Mr. Engel‘s] reported plans to eliminate the Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade Subcommittee for one dedicated to investigations,” Texas Rep. Mike McCaul, the ranking Republican on the House foreign affairs panel, said in an interview. “Since 9-11, that subcommittee has been vital in better securing America and promoting trade. I hear the new one will be dedicated to partisan politics. I strongly urge my friend to reconsider.”

Republicans are disappointed that Democrats are acting like communists.
If the Democrats are looking for something to investigate, they should investigate all of the unsolved murders in the cities they run.
Why would they do that? That is their base at work.
Doing business is not a crime that needs investigating. It was in the Soviet Union, maybe that’s what confuses them. This sounds more like treason than anything else. He is the president for which there is no evidence of a crime.

You beat me to it. The Republicans act as if this is a game of teeter-totter. The GOP is up for awhile. Then the Democrats are up for a while. On and on, forever.
Well, the Democrats disagree. They want it all, permanently. And thanks to illegal immigration and ballot-box stuffing, the Democrats will eventually get it all.
Dems love muzzies and hate Trump and this country.
What they did with ballot harvesting this last election is just a preview of what they’re going to do in 2020. They’ll be massive cheating. Because they know they’ll get away with it.
Oh, yes. We’ll see massive voter fraud in 2020 that would make Stalin blush. What I just can’t figure out is why the GOP just doesn’t seem to care about it.
The once-powerful American Whig party went extinct around 1860. I wonder when the GOP will go extinct, and what will replace it.
I think it will go extinct after 2020. I think the best we can do after 2020 is switch parties to democrat and try to pull it back to the center. Problem is, like in the USSR, you’ll have a choice between Commiecrat and Commiecrat.
It makes sense if they’re complicit.
Americans demand an accounting: tax dollars appropriated for their safety and security are to be used illegally....for partisan purposes.

For every one of these stories about Trump substitute Obama and run the scenarios if the right had done the same thing.
Democrats are more concerned with real Americans and our attempt to restore the rule of law than they are with terrorists murdering the innocent. In the eternal battle between good and evil, the left has declared which side they support.
If disappointment is the strongest word he can come up with for this he obviously doesn’t get it. In fact, it makes one wonder if he actually knows where he is.
