en. Kamala D. Harris of California joined the 2020 presidential contest on Monday, thrusting a daughter of immigrants from Jamaica and India into the Democratic race two years after she arrived in the Senate.
Harris, a 54-year-old former prosecutor raised in a state that has been the crucible of the Trump resistance, expanded a growing field of candidates fighting for the nomination of a party that is increasingly nonwhite and fueled by women alienated by the president.
She made the announcement during an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and in a video that her campaign posted online.

For as much as I am disgusted by what the Democrap party has turned into, it will be entertaining to watch their debates. I think they will end up with the highest ratings ever, only because they’re such a big train wreck.
I am pretty sure she is not NBC because her father immigrated here in 1961 and she was born in 1964. Since there is a 5 year waiting period as a resident before becoming a citizen, she is not qualified to be POTUS.

And you’re right-so much of what happened in 2016 was that pissed off Bernie voters stayed home and if the Dems can keep the wall from being built-that takes away a huge campaign slogan from Trump-since “lock her up” looks like it’s not happening either.

You want to hear optimism? I think Trump will garner more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016. A lot more.
The liberal press paints him as weak and vulnerable, when nothing could be further from the truth. It's all agitprop, designed to condition the Deplorables into thinking that we can't win, and that a full resumption of Democrat control of our government is inevitable.

He may just be thinking, "I am the rational choice, therefore I'm going to win" and not put in the effort.
Sort of like Hillary thinking, "I am the most qualified candidate ever, therefore I deserve to win."
