Pelosi Statement on Trump Speech

San Francisco — Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued this statement in advance of the President’s address:
“Democrats were hopeful that the President was finally willing to re-open government and proceed with a much-needed discussion to protect the border.
“Unfortunately, initial reports make clear that his proposal is a compilation of several previously rejected initiatives, each of which is unacceptable and in total, do not represent a good faith effort to restore certainty to people’s lives. It is unlikely that any one of these provisions alone would pass the House, and taken together, they are a non-starter. For one thing, this proposal does not include the permanent solution for the Dreamers and TPS recipients that our country needs and supports.
“Democrats support smart, effective border security solutions:
Increased infrastructure investments at our ports of entry including additional ports and roads;
Advanced technology to scan for drugs, weapons and contraband where the vast majority of drugs come in to our country and advanced technology to detect unauthorized crossings;
More customs personnel including filling the more than 3,000 customs and border patrol vacancies; and
More immigration judges.
“Next week, Democrats will pass a package of six bills agreed to by House and Senate negotiators and other legislation to re-open government so that we can fully negotiate on border security proposals.
“The President must sign these bills to re-open government immediately and stop holding the American people hostage with this senseless shutdown. Each day he prolongs this needless crisis, Coast Guardsmen, FBI agents, border patrol officers, TSA agents, and hundreds of thousands more workers are forced to live without knowing how they can feed their families or pay their bills.
“The President has taken pride in shutting down government. Now, he must take action to open up government.”

She has herself in a pickle. President Trump made a GREAT deal, she probably didn’t even listen to it.

Here's a clue: Trump's polling among Hispanics INCREASED by 19% during this shutdown. The Dems were counting in Hispanics to replace blacks in their Great Victimhood Coalition to Replace Whitey (TM).
This way, Trump takes away their intended new base (which they threw away blue-collar whites to get), he keeps blue-collar whites, and when he declares an Emergency and builds the wall, he stops the influx of new Dem voters.

Nope, he simply followed through on Trump’s offer. The DREAMERS will see the offer, knowing that they could be toast if the Supreme Court rules against them, and will likely understand who is putting them at risk.
Where is she. Trump probably delayed the speech by an hour knowing that it would conflict with coctail hour, causing her to either respond drunk or issue a “prebuttal” to a speech she had not heard.
She obviously did not listen to the speech. He proposed much of what she has in her list of demands like more agents, more judges, etc. He said he would give three years of temporary status. Obviously he’s not going to give amnesty in exchange for nothing.
I guess there aren’t enough DACA recipients for the RATS to care about them and their attempts at staying in the USA. The RATS really want all the millions of illegals who have flooded the country to vote illegally. Democrats have always loved slaves.
People should look into how much Pelosi cost us the last time around, in flowers alone, alcohol, and military planes back and forth to one of her homes with family.

Kosher alcohol for mixing beverages in the delegation room was purchased on the local economy i.e. bourbon, whiskey, scotch, vodka, gin, triple sec, tequila, etc.”

If Nancy refuses to submit a spending bill the president can sign, then the non-essential part of the government can stay shut down. If an emergency arises (airport security or coast guard or national security or other law enforcement crisis) then the president can declare emergency in that area and get it solved. To hell with Nancy.
