I’ll bet you got quite an education. Did you ever hear about the Minuteman Project? They started in the mid 2,000’s. It was unique because it was a group of civilians patrolling the border and reporting to the Border Patrol what they saw. They were very careful about obeying the law, and they even pioneered the idea of using a drone to watch the border. I remember that they ended up in some kind of internal strife, possibly caused by being infiltrated. I haven’t thought about them for years and now am wondering whatever happened to them.
So then, tell me again why we have a Second Amendment?
Because I’m sure I read at least umpteen effing threads a week, here on FR, where all the panty knotters wet their drawers over “bump stock bans,” and the like.
Yet, year after year, the same raging bunch of testosterone-pegged blowhards sit on their fat cowardly asses, while this invasion continues unabated.
And, if you mention the obvious remedy for this sort of foreign transgression, you get slapped with all the usual insults for being “a loon.”
Last time I checked, the American People were still the “militia” - at least that is what the Federalist papers state ... You know, those documents that publicly argued the case for ratifying our Constitution?

I think this is even deeper than you guys are saying. If you noticed in the speech he said that Daca was temporarily OK for three years. so the Dems all came out and said oh no we we have to have it permenant. if there is meaningful compromise. Well the next step is OK will make it permanent. And when they do the Dems will either look foolish for not agreeing or accept it. so there is a poison pill in this and I think it’s brilliant. I don’t know if it’s gonna work but brilliant set up none the less. Next address will be dems are not allowing amnesty for daca kids.
I know some of you don’t like that part but seriously some of those kids came here as baby’s and have no more business being sent back to Mexico than any of us. Once I learned there is no way for them to start a citizenship process here I do believe there is something that needs to be done for them. 35 yrs old or not.
