Airline AeroMexico offering discounts to Americans with Mexican DNA

In an attempt to boost tourism from the US, Mexico’s national airline carrier has a “DNA Discounts” program — which offers flights at lower rates for Americans with Mexican DNA.

The promotion was unveiled in an ad last year by AeroMexico, the company offering it, but it’s only just now going viral.

I was on an AeroMexico flight to Guadalajara about 20 years ago. It was just like being in one of those overloaded third-world buses you see in documentaries, but without the chickens and goats. We made it, and the flight back to San Francisco was nearly normal.

Yeah but, What if they have got Spanish blood (DNA) and have never been to Mexico? Mexican is Indian and Spanish. Indian is Aztec, Olmec, Toltec, and so forth and Spain includes Jews, and various other groups.

No discount low enough for me. I absolutely HATE Mexico. Have been there several times over many years, and it was always a disaster. Especially the very pricey vacay at the Acapulco Princess.......could not have been sicker.

Offered a free trip by a friend who has a time share in Cabo, I said NO NO NO, but thanks.
