Democrats are finally acknowledging what we’ve always known about them: emotion is the basis of their whole ideology, and facts are just inconvenient obstacles to their extremist ambitions.
Within just a few days of each other, leading Democrats representing both the establishment and progressive wings of the party separately revealed that they and their liberal colleagues have no interest in letting facts or figures get in the way of their moral certitude.
First, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reportedly interrupted a briefing on border security by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, declaring, “I reject your facts” as Nielsen related statistics demonstrating the severity of the illegal immigration crisis.
Pelosi probably thought her verbal snipe was pretty clever, but really it just showed how myopic her thinking really is.

I’ve lost most of my friends by telling them that facts are more important than feelings. Good way to sort out worthwhile friends.
And then there’s my tag line:
Not unless women, both actual and functional, figure it out.
Except they don’t.
The Democrats have managed to win many, many things on the basis of feelings.
Harry Truman would not be allowed in today’s Democrat party.

If they were capable of making that realization, they wouldn’t be Democrats. They are incapable of making that realization because they don’t *have* to be. There’s always someone else more responsible to clean up the messes they leave behind them, or at least to take the blame for the universe not working the way they *feel* it should work.
Step 1, then, is Don’t Enable Democrats. Ever. Let them fail.
It’s not possible, they are emotionally based thinkers. They are empowered by their moral values, which change with their emotions. “To do the right thing” always trumps facts or logic. It’s why they fall for socialism, it just looks so good in principle. Who cares if it doesn’t work.
Reason is one thing. Emotion is another thing. Insanity, however, is something that neither hears nor heeds reason.

Yeah, I did hear that we may be reverting to Valley Gurl speak with sandy o’casio.
This concept is seen in the recent Ocasio-Cortez interview with Anderson Cooper. She’s made some factually incorrect statements. And she said how we are too focused on precise facts rather than being morally right.
That’s where these leftists are. It doesn’t matter whether she says false things, because she’s “morally right”. We could debate as to what morality she represents.

Impossible. The essence of leftist philosophy is Romanticism, whose basic tenet is that facts are cold and inhuman, but Feelings lead to Truth.
