Jeff Sessions single handedly plunged this nation into two years of political chaos when he recused himself and let Rosenstein transition the coup plot out into the open by recommending Trump fire Comey and then appointing a special counsel to investigate why Trump fired Comey. And then ignored his own recusal whenever an opportunity came up to offer praise and support to Rosenstein for his decisions and acts in these matters.

I hope he is shunned wherever he goes.

You summed it up nicely.
Sessions should have been tarred and feathered...

1. There was no predicate crime. Sessions cited a criminal statute as his basis for recusing from a counter-intelligence investigation. If he did that unknowingly, then he was incompetent to be Attorney General. If he did that knowingly, then he was complicit in sedition.

2. Sessions actively eulogized the Federal prosecutors in the Cliven Bundy case, who committed such egregious misconduct that Judge Navarro threw their case out with prejudice!

Sessions defends the Institution, not the Constitution. He has done enormous damage to the rule of law.
