Karen Pence, wife of Vice President Mike Pence, started at a job this week teaching art at Immanuel Christian School in Northern Virginia. It’s not a school where everyone is welcome. In a “parent agreement” posted online, the school says it will refuse admission to students who participate in or condone homosexual activity. The 2018 employment application also makes candidates sign a pledge not to engage in homosexual activity or violate the “unique roles of male and female.”
“Moral misconduct which violates the bona fide occupational qualifications for employees includes, but is not limited to, such behaviors as the following: heterosexual activity outside of marriage (e.g., premarital sex, cohabitation, extramarital sex), homosexual or lesbian sexual activity, polygamy, transgender identity, any other violation of the unique roles of male and female, sexual harassment, use or viewing of pornographic material or websites,” says the application.
The application says that the school believes “marriage unites one man and one woman” and that “a wife is commanded to submit to her husband as the church submits to Christ.” The application asks potential employees to explain their view of the “creation/evolution debate.”

Just a continuation of the hate filled Left’s campaign against conservatives. Their crusade against Sarah Palin is a textbook case of their determination to destroy anyone who they perceive as a threat in their drive toward imposing socialism in this country.

99% of Christian schools have a statement of faith that faculty must abide by as part of their contract. Elementary school kids who decide they are LGBTQ are usually being pushed into it by their parents.
Great—insurance that the Dems don’t take Trump out if they can’t get Pence out of the way too!

Under fascism (state socialism), private businesses are told where to locate, how many jobs will be made available, who they will hire and how much the pay-rate will be.

Hate to be ‘Devils Advocate’ in this case but where is the difference if you replace the ‘gay’ crap with black?
When people get ‘obnoxious’ and making statements like ‘All them GD n’s voted for BO’ I ask what is the difference in that and ‘all’ Catholics and Irish voted for JFKennedy and got themselves a little better organized since the Al Smith vote some 30 or so years prior?
Personally, I agree with the school and should be able to associate with people of my choosing and if a school or church wants to keep itself to ‘like’ members it should be able to.
The problem is when they accept Government money or tax(or lack of) status.
The old ‘my house my rules’ kick in like when the 30something in the basement -rent free- wants to move his/her girl/boy friend in.
A free society says you can’t/won’t discriminate and if the airlines/government can proclaim no smoking on airlines or buses or taxis, it is discriminatory against smokers ESPECIALLY when you don’t allow anyone to run such a service to accommodate the smokers.
The ‘beauty’ of entrepreneurship is that if your project really stinks or is unsuccessful, you lose financial support or just shut it down if not profitable.
BUT when ‘Government’ is being discriminatory, WE ALL are paying for it, like it or not.
It’s a private Christian school! They have the right to require their staff and students to follow Christian beliefs.
It is truly a sad day in the US when schools have to announce they do not welcome nor condone those who believe that being a homo is a good thing and as such do not wish to have them on their premises.

No one can help what skin color they are born with. And despite what the agenda pushers claim, no one is born gay. It's a learned lifestyle.
Eventually, they'll demand it be compulsory.
This issue is tailor made by liberals to keep their attorneys working for decades the US education Dept. is going to be continuesly dealing with lawsuits. The way to end private schools is lawsuits,which will lead to more overcrowding then they will make homeschooling illegal.
