I agree with @realDonaldTrump! It’s time to declare victory in Afghanistan and bring our troops home. We spend $46 BILLION a year in Afghanistan! How about we take that money and build roads and bridges and strengthen border security here in America? #AmericaFirst

I agree with him entirely. We are not there doing anything that will change that country. They will still be moslem when we leave. We are not even killing enough of them to slow down the spread of the plague.
We need to get out and quarantine them. Who cares what the savages do in their own country as long as they are not allowed to leave it.
We do, and we are only able to supply the landlocked country with the permission of the neighbors.
Trying to make the Afghanistan/China border a second front would tax us more than the Chinese. They have the numbers and the interior lines. It's a laughable axis of advance, and we'd be morons in the extreme to try and invade China in the first place.

Overthrowing secular dictatorships and nation building is idiotic but so is the Paul/Obama belief that ignoring Islamic terrorism will result in Islamic terrorists leaving us alone. They won't. They hate this country if for no other reason than we are aligned with Israel.
Only if you have a country willing to let you use their air bases. We already have that in Afghanistan. I would be foolish to give it up.
Nothing in Afghanistan, or around there is worth having a air base from. Secondly, we have multiple units that can deploy in short time from America. If China wants to put their forces in Afghan, or Russia wants to try again, go for it. We are broke and don’t need forces there.
