BLOOMINGTON, Minnesota — Police in Minnesota confirmed Tuesday they were investigating the ex-boyfriend of a Temple woman missing for more than a week in connection with the 2009 disappearance of a woman from Minnesota.
Bloomington Police department Public Information Officer Mike Hartley said they were looking at Cedric Marks as a possible person of interest in the missing persons case of April Pease. However, Hartley said he was not considered a suspect in the Pease case.
"April Pease was reported missing in 2009 and since that time the case has been open and all leads actively investigated by our agency, Hartley said. "We are aware of the developments in Texas and will follow up on any new information that may be pertinent to the disappearance of April Pease."

There is no such thing as a “person of interest”. The term is “suspect”.
That was the word the FBI invented for Richard Jewell the hero of the Atlanta Olympics who they hounded to death.

The former girlfriend/baby mama goes "missing" in 2009 after she runs to Minnesota for safety.
Then he terrorizes this young woman and her family for several years till she gets a restraining order several months ago.
“Marks has terrorized and hurt our family for several years now. We are not surprised that he may be involved in the disappearance of a former girlfriend in Minnesota," Scott’s father, Jonathan Scott, said Tuesday.
What a shocker. Another naive MN white girl gets done in by a black boyfriend. A restraining order? Why didn’t they buy a gun? There was an episode of the First 48 about a similar situation. Is there something that prevents MN dads from protecting their daughters? Is it the same thing that keeps Swedish men from protecting their women? I don’t get it.
The law doesn't let you off dangerous creeps like this till it's too late.

Restraining orders aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on. They’re only good to lead LE to whom might have killed you.
You betcha. Anyone who thinks a restraining order is protection is nuts. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
