This is not news. The President has the Constitutional authority to fire anyone in the Executive Branch - especially a duplicitous scumbag like Comey.
Why isn’t Comey in prison? Or better yet, hanged?
Trump can pick anyone he wants for AG. Nothing wrong with getting Barr’s views before nominating him. It is too bad he didn’t do a better job of vetting Sessions.

B.S. This is NOT some new “development” — this was reported shortly after Barr was nominated, a couple of months ago.
This is just the Demoncraps and the Propaganda MSM trying to make trouble for POTUS Trump.
Ofc, now that we know Barr and Mueller are close buddies it may not be a bad thing if his nomination were to be withdrawn. But that won’t happen, Trump and Graham/McConnell are not going to let the Demoncraps derail the process now.
He can fire Comey anytime, no reason needed. He can order an investigation started or stopped. He can pardon anyone who is the target of any Federal investigation.
He can WALK INTO the FBI HQ, sit in Comey’s or Wray’s chair and say “what’s the password to your government computer here on the desk, I want to look through your files”.
So how can he “obstruct” something?
If he does something for crass personal reasons, such as covering up a bribe, Congress can impeach him.
The DOJ an FBI are powerless.
Barr's note seems to have come out of nowhere when he sent it to Rosenstein. Who was asking for his opinion any way? How convenient to have this memo to show Trump, to offer hope that someone in the swamp has his back. Someone whose wife attends bible studies with Mueller's wife.
The swamp is deep and thick and filled with duplicity and planted diversions.

you’re right it’s not a new thing, except, today he sent a letter to Grassley on said subject. Not sure why Barr would do that the night before his hearing? timing?
Well now Barr knows that the Demoncraps will be making an issue of it in the confirmation hearing, and also that the MSM has been seriously misrepresenting what Barr’s memo said. So presumably he is trying to lay down some lines before the hearing of what he did and did not say/do.

I heard Graham say Barr and his wife are Mueller family friends. I wrote a tweet to DJT, who is giving you these names for AG, seems like Barr is another Sessions and Rosenstein.
Of course POTUS isn’t going to answer my Tweet, but all the same as one of his good campaign workers I must say I am not now a big Barr supporter.
I was appalled that Muellers grand jury was extended 6 more months just when people were saying he was winding down and soon issuing a report. No, we hate what Mueller is doing to Jerome Corsi and his kid, Flynn and his kid, Don Jr., Roger Stone, anybody who ever treated Trump with fairness.
And I hope this ends with all those partisans like Peter and Lisa, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Powers, all on trial.

I too was one of “ his good campaign workers “ , leading the most steady , aggressive ,visible and colorful of regular Trump - Pence roadside sign waves in the State of Hawaii . Which isn’t saying much in this politically crappy state . But I/ we faced some real s#it out there . For months. Thus it is Inalways feel free giving him my personal opinion on things . I only hope some of it makes its way thru filters . I know for sure a little bit has....I do not blame him at for basically shunning my state , with the despicable likes of Hirono , Gabbard , Ige , Chin ,Watson and Schatz , you can’ blame him . Still I wish he would find a way to put ALL of these Hawaii turkeys in their place . They think they are too big for their britches. I apologize to my President ,and really ask only one thing of him : ARREST OBAMA and Clinton. See justice done....
Indeed, it sure looks like Trump has been tricked into nominated a best bud to Mueller as the DOJ continues to be coup attempt central.
