Trump, Following Explosive News Reports, Denies He Worked For Russia
NPR ^ | Jan. 14, 2019 | Philip Ewing

President Trump on Monday denied that he has been trying to conceal details about his discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin after a pair of explosive press reports over the weekend.

"I never worked for Russia," Trump told reporters. "It's a disgrace that you even asked that question because it's a whole big fat hoax. It's just a hoax." Trump also said he doesn't know anything about what happened to the notes taken by an interpreter when he met with Putin last summer in Finland or after other meetings with the Russian leader.

The Washington Post reported that Trump has taken at least one interpreter's notes after a meeting with Putin and instructed a linguist not to brief anyone else in the administration about what the two leaders had discussed during their closed-door meeting.

They won’t quit!!

The government has been so corrupt, they did not want a new face in that seat to see how far down they have sunk. So they try to destroy him when they could not keep him from being elected.

It’s obama... it’s hillary... it’s the fbi... it’s the justice dept... and it’s all rotten to the core!!! Go after them... but there is no one who will or can... how to rid this country of the stink within!!

President Trump:.. release the documents.. put the daylight on all their dirt.

[Straight out of the “Rules for Radicals” playbook: accuse your opponent of whatever crimes you have been doing.]

Well they have to cover for the crimes of Hillary and Obama and pals....

Meanwhile, their Democrat empty-headed fools can’t figure it out...

Nothing but distraction. And sabotage. And sedition.

"It's starting to look like the "Climate" scientists' method. "

Not long before we'll start hearing that a consensus of Federal law enforcement agree that Trump was working for Russia.

With all the leaks this Administration has had to deal with (with the blessing of the DNC Media), why wouldn’t the POTUS want to keep those “notes” private?

POTUS’s party is leaving him bare behind to the win. Disgusting.

This nonsense all would have been shut down immediately after the election had the GOP insisted on also having a full investigation of the Clinton campaign, Perkins Coie and the Russians who worked for them.

It’s the ‘seriousness of the charge’ that counts................

Last year when the GOP voted to fully fund NPR I came to the conclusion that they were never serious about cutting Federal spending.

I finally came to the same conclusion. Despite years and decades of rhetoric about cutting the budget, when it comes down to it, neither party is willing to bite the bullet and do it whatever the political cost. It's the same with the tax code: Common taxpayers hate the complexity, politicians posture about simplifying it, and nothing gets done because they don't want anything to get done.

Back to the deficit, I've come to the conclusion that nothing else matters--not immigration, not the wall, not trade, nothing. If the government doesn't stop spending, and soon, the country will fail. What that means I'm not sure, but it will be painful if not fatal.

I listen to NPR at least several times per week, sometimes quite a bit more. These people are very very very selective in which stories they run. They are as hard left as MSNBC and AOC is, but unlike MSNBC, they actually try to mask their subjectivity with and punditry behind a well practice ‘reporting’ style and a thinly veiled illusion of matter-of-factness.

Meanwhile, the guy who told Medvedev to tell Putin the be patient until after the next election and the woman who sold US uranium to Russia are not being investigated............

Yep. Millions are sitting in realville knowing that and watching the GOPe give aid and comfort to the Democrat felons. This won’t end well for the Party of Lincoln. Guaranteed.

It makes my blood boil to hear these so-called reporters ask a sitting president such an outrageous question when there has not been one shred of evidence to warrant such a question.

Recall the light in the loafers CNN “reporter” asking the Kenyan during a sit down interview what “enchanted” him about living in the White Hut.

They don’t want to cut the budget because the special interest lobbyists are making them and their families rich. It’s that simple.

Whatever “professionalism” NPR exhibits is irrelevant in the face of the fact that it’s unconstitutional.

We know from the two love birds at the FBI that there was a plan to destroy Trump and that was before Comey was fired.

How much of NPR is owned by the government? Don’t just defund it. Sell it. It should be treated like any other privately held broadcaster.

He shouldn’t even have to tell a linguist not to disclose the conversation. It’s not his to disclose.
