The survey, released Oct. 3 by the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation with the research firm Lincoln Park Strategies, sampled 1,000 American adults. It showed that only 36 percent actually passed the test. Respondents 65 and older scored the best (74 percent), while only 19 percent of test-takers 45 and younger passed.

People applying for US citizenship need to pass a fairly extensive test on US history, government, etc. More than what kids here are taught in schools.

What’s needed is a curriculum teaching the history of slavery starting with ancients worldwide, and ending with human trafficking in current events.A teaching of the history of not being allowed to vote, starting with ancient tyrannies and picking up on the fact that the “two-thirds of a person” canard about the Constitution refers to the representation in Congress of people who were allowed to vote, and helped rather that damaging the prospects of slaves having their rights respected.
Civics Class.
On the first day of School hand the Kiddies a copy of the U.S. Constitution, The Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.
Tell them that there will be a written Test every Friday that will cover all aspects of the Documents and a Passing Grade is 90%.
