Washington Post fashion critic Robin Givhan is acting like a very badly disguised editorial writer again. On the front of Friday's Style section, she attacked Trump's fashions in Texas under the headline "Fashion crisis at the border." The headline after the article jumped inside to page C2 was "Trump's choice of attire was a disaster."
Liberals love pretending that Obama's only scandal was he once wore a tan suit. But criticizing how this president dresses is easy, low-hanging fruit. It's a yawn. So Givhan has to dress up the fashion chatter with screeds about Trump's fact-mangling and fear-mongering.

Not once did the Washington Post mentioned the semi truck wide load sized butt of Michelle Obama. On many occasions her attire was simply ghetto trash looking. It was almost as she wanted to insult her hosts. On state occasions in the White House she was very appropriately attired.
One can just imagine what the Washington Slimes would be saying if Melania had the same physique as Michelle. They would be like rabid dogs. They are that toward Melania but never attack her beauty.
They were merciless because she wore high heels on her way to Texas to see the Hurricane damage with her president husband. It was portrayed as an insult to the people of Texas. They failed to mentioned when she stepped off Air Force One she was wearing tennis shoes.

Interestingly, the Post’s fashionista nailed exactly the look Trump was going for: inspecting the scene of a disaster. Senator Cruz’ look is the more interesting to talk about. What Tim Grahamcracker didn’t like was the politics of that message.
The more curious political message was that of Ted Cruz, showing off his white whiskers and looking very manly but very deferential.
