You bring up a good point, and especially in light of the fact “our” two Senators are mentioned in this thread. I guess my question would be who could possibly beat either of our present Senators in an election? No one I know of in either party. Not that you are suggesting such, just talking out loud to the crowd thinking such an option even exists to elect individuals who might appear to be on the side of right, and standing firmly behind our duly elected President of these United States.
Build the Wall, and no welfare for non-citizens.
Of course you are factually correct. And yet, I am wondering about the results if the Presidents supporters in the state simply didn’t check a box for Thune in the upcoming election?
But we both know that won’t happen. Sheeple are not only Democrats.
The Dems might secretly prefer that. It allows them to tell their base they didn't "cave", that Trump is lawless, etc.
We should understand that different perspectives require different treatment. But most will respond to calm logic, once--and this is the crux--you get past the Pavlovian conditioning, which has epitomized the Leftist message in our "educational" establishments.

Sort of a subliminal message kind of message? Why did I get fewer votes than Mr President? I like it except for the potential danger of giving away a Senate seat.
Any Democrat is in my opinion more dangerous than a non performing Republican. There are some on FR willing to accept that danger in sending the message to mainstream Republicans, I’m just not one of them.
I’m sure we both find his conservative voting record below fifty percent to be a source of, “what happened John”? Worse still is the somewhat anti President Trumpism he has displayed.
It is a hard thing to judge based on what he knows that we may not vis-a-vis his lofty position in the Senate. We certainly agree on your sheeple comment.
