House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accused President Trump Thursday of a set-up in their meeting a day earlier, when the president walked out after she told him she’ll never allow him funding for his border wall.
Mrs. Pelosi also questioned the president’s motives, saying he’s negotiating from a position of weakness.
“I don’t even know if the president wants the wall. He wants a debate on the wall,” she said.
The California Democrat has said she would allow a single dollar to go to the wall if it ended the shutdown but has said the president’s current $5.7 billion request is a no-go.
Mrs. Pelosi also said the border fight is not about national security.
“It really isn’t,” she said.

The hypocrisy is strong in that one.
She's not dumb. She has just met someone who is smarter, more powerful and more resourceful and its really pi$$ed her off.

as usual Dems inadvertently broadcast what they would do when they project like this. what is curious is that they still have no self-awareness that they are doing it.
This is how I read this.
The leaks that have been flowing to the DNC since 2002 are now plugged and they are not getting the inside working plans.

“Politicians” in both the House and Senate have promised Border Security for years -— way back to the Reagan “amnesty for security deal” that the lying cheating Democrats reneged on. Trump is NOT a politician -— he KEEPS his campaign promises. The swamp has no idea how to deal with that because they have never seen it before!!!
But, she will cut your head off and you won’t even know about it. Let’s see. She says ain’t no way she’s funding a wall. Period. So, tell me again why PDJT needed to sit there after that proclamation?

To your point, this is likely to almost always be the case when a person successful in the private sector, who has actually had a real job, interacts with people like Pelosi, Schumer, and their fellow travelers in public office.
