Maybe it was...and maybe Trump just had a Plan B ready and waiting to go. That’s how he rolls - he’s a businessman, not a pol, and 45 quite successful years in business undoubtedly have taught him to have not just a Plan B, but also Plans C, D, E and F - because things virtually NEVER work out the way you’d like them to do so.

Trump is smarter, more resourceful and more aggressive than her, and also has a secret weapon: he simply doesn’t give a rat’s ass what anyone thinks of him. That’s a luxury you get when you’re 70+, and is considerably reinforced by having a net worth of $5 billion or so. Nanzi is playing WAY out of her league.
