The CNBC header says he “stormed out” of the meeting. Says who? More attempts to use classic passive-aggressive tactics and make Trump appear irrational.

What I don’t understand is why the Pubbies, who controlled the WH, House and Senate for 2 years, didn’t get the wall passed during those 2 years. Milquetoasts Ryan and McConnell wanted to play nice with the people who want to slit all conservative throats?? That worked out well. /sarc

It is very simple. The power was illusion.
The Republicans did not control the Senate. The Republicans ahd a theoretical majority but there were two or three prima donnas that were undependable and even with them did not have the 60 votes necessary to pass legislation pproved by the House.
The House passed 51 versions for getting rid of Obamacare but the Senate could not muster the votes

There is that, of course, but the acute issue is the rats unwillingness to allow Trump his greatest victory, thus assuring his re-election. Imagine the 2020 campaign with pictures of Trump standing in front of his big beautiful wall, and the legend promises madepromises kept!
