For the second time in two years, Los Angeles detectives have found a man dead inside the apartment of Ed Buck, a political activist who rose to national prominence in the late 1980s for his effort to recall the governor of Arizona, the authorities said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department said it received a 911 call shortly after 1 a.m. on Monday from a person who claimed that a man inside a West Hollywood apartment had stopped breathing and could not be resuscitated. When emergency responders arrived at the residence, a second-floor unit on Laurel Avenue, they declared the man dead.
The authorities have not determined how the man died, nor have they publicly released his identity other than to say he was an adult black man. A group of protesters rallied outside Mr. Bucks apartment throughout the day Monday and demanded justice for the man and for another black man, Gemmel Moore, who was found naked and dead of a drug overdose on a mattress in Mr. Bucks living room in July 2017.
The sheriffs office said that homicide detectives were among those who responded to Mr. Bucks residence on Monday, and that it would review its investigation into the death of Mr. Moore, 26, and conduct new interviews. Mr. Buck, now 64, was not charged in Mr. Moores death.
It is suspicious that this has happened twice now, so were going to conduct a thorough investigation to determine if it is criminal in nature, Lt. Derrick Alfred told KTLA-TV, a local television station.

Nothing to look at here folks. Just move along and remember to vote Democrat.
Just questions?
It’s LA. Just questions. And Buck will be given them ahead of time. Likely the answers, too.
In other words:
Ed Buck needs to Raise a lot of Money for quisling scumbag demonrat politicians real fast if he wants to stay out of PRISON!!!
Damn, just damn.
This guy has a pattern of young men dying in his house???
Is this bizarre or what????
It was hilarious last night watching the local commie news trying SO SO hard not to report that this guy is a BIG TIME DEMOCRAT DONOR..they were literally biting their tongues trying not to say the word “Democrat” if this guy were a Republican donor that is ALL you would hear..REPUBLICAN REPUBLICAN REPUBLICAN
Ummmm ...
Ummmmmmmm ...
"Everybody does it"?
It would be bizarre in the red bits. Criminal, too. In the blue bits it’s just SSDD.
That or he knows where the bodies are buried and Democrats fear he has a dead mans' key.
It sure took them long enough to get around to mentioning that ALL HIS MONEY goes to Democrats.
I’m always amazed at how well ‘Rats pick their vics. Family members are always happy to shut up if the price is right. Nobody ever makes a stink, turns down the money, gets justice for their loved one. The vics are just more ‘Rat roadkill.
Keep your eyes on the coroner.....
if you read article - towards end identifies him first as Republican - then indicates he donates to demonrats.
Where was the coroner the first time?
He randomly picks up (black) homosexuals off the street and injects them with methamphetamine at his home prior to anonymous sex. He probably enjoys getting pegged or buggered. Basically. Real classy guy sounds like.
Could happen to anybody! Except, he’s a huge $$$ fundraiser for major liberal Democrats, you-know-who, so it’s... complicated. He’s probably facing hours of community service.
Jim Jones was a HUGE mover and shaker and very well connected to everybody and anybody in 1970s California Democrat politics.
After 700 people were killed/suicided in Guyana, the narrative changed. They tried to portray him as a right wing evangelist. Many of the victims were poor blacks, another inconvenient truth.
John Gacy was another democrat activist, there are many, many others. They attract loons, always have, at least the “liberals”.
The fellow who tried to massacre the Republican softball game, almost killing Rep. Steve Scalise last year was a bigtime liberal democrat activist. Many people called for copies of emails sent back and forth to Dick “Dick” Durbin, among the questions were how this individual found the location of the softball practice. It was a somewhat obscure ballfield and not publicly known as such. Who told him where they’d be? If only there was a real press in this country.
F ‘em. I hope they die in a fire.
Well, well, this story made the NY Times. Thanks for posting this.
