We are all familiar with this excerpt from Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, powerful words that sum up the proper governing philosophy for America in one simple phrase.
I wonder what Mr. Lincoln would think about how his words, and what they mean, are being ignored by the political leaders of today.
It is no longer of the people, by the people or for the people when it comes to Congress. It’s no longer of the people, by the people, and for the people. It’s all about them.
It makes no difference what the people of this nation want. It’s what a body of power-hungry, self-serving, special interest-controlled professional politicians need to stay in office, wasting our tax money on pre-doomed projects like Solyndra, allowing the law of the land to be broken over and over again at the southern border in hopes of building an unbeatable voter base.

Charlie is right about the most important point, that the government of the United States is no longer interested in the well being of Americans. In fact, they don’t seem to mind replacing us.
He didn’t have to steal them. They handed themselves over as soon as they heard he was in town.

Mr. Daniels rightly condemns the gop invertebrates that traitorously ignores the will of the people.
He’s great. I sure wish he were accepting a Golden Globe Award. HIS opinion of politics today is correct, ABOUT BOTH PARTIES.
What a shame that his voice and others like it don’t get national exposure.
Government exists to propagate government. It uses our money to remain in power. The power is used to control us. As long as we remain sheep, they are happy. Start thinking for your self, as we did in Nov 2016, and as the French are starting to do now, and the powers are scared.
We elect them. They deceive us and lie to us. We complain. And then we re-elect them expecting that they might change — but they never do.
Trump offered the GOP a great opportunity to break the cycle but alas the Gutless Old Party let us down again. This time in spectacular fashion.
We need a new party that will defend America, honestly represent us, and advance the conservative agenda.

Absolutely true. I’ve worked in DC. That’s how it works.
We elect them for public service.
They demand Public Serve Us.
Well, not so much. I am soooo proud of this president. I must admit, I did not care much for him during the primaries...but now I see it as politics are politics to win.
That said, Trump is working hard to keep his promises made during the election. Fulfilling scores and working to fulfill others against tremendous headwinds. The corruption in D.C. is on full display. We now know for certain, there truly is a shadow government of really ugly, greedy, evil men/women.
Not sure how all this is going to play out, but I can say, these swamp creatures are not attempting to only succeed in this soft coup of a duly elected president, they also are seeking to circumvent my will, your will...the will of the people who voted to disrupt the globalist agenda and shine light on the dark under belly of Warshington D.C..
God help us.

The Founding Fathers had a healthy and well founded fear of big government. They tried to warn us. But we didn’t listen.
Since Lincon’s time It’s been goverment of the lawyers, by the lawyers and for the lawyers.
The hate campaign against Trump is because he is not one of “Them”.
