The major broadcast networks all agreed to air Trump’s Tuesday evening Oval Office address to the nation after initially considering snubbing the President.
President Trump confirmed Monday afternoon he will address the nation Tuesday evening from the Oval Office on the national security crisis at the southern border.
The White House asked broadcast networks to carve out at least eight minutes at 9 PM ET Tuesday night where President Trump may declare a national emergency.
On Monday evening, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) lashed out at President Trump and demanded he reopen the government in a joint statement.

Equal air time? Democrap talking points are going to spew non-stop from the networks for days and days afterward, twisting every word Trump utters, until their polls tell them Americans don’t want a wall. Equal time my eye.
this is cool... at a 9 pm est start, trump can just extend his speech to two hours, adding a q and a at the end, and force the democrats’ response to start at midnight which in essence guarantees it will be missed by most people on the liberal populated east coast who are watching live. maybe trump can pull and obama and arrive at the studio 30 minutes late (reggie love done ate my speech, ho ho ho).

Your equal time will come from the bought-and-paid-for news media who will rip President Trump after he’s completed his address to the nation.

“The White House asked broadcast networks to carve out at least eight minutes at 9 PM ET Tuesday night where President Trump MAY (WILL) declare a national emergency.” President Trump will declare illegal immigration is in a crisis state and needs to be addressed as a NATIONAL EMERGENCY. If the Networks refuse to broadcast President Trump’s message they will be subject to FCC communication penalties.
That certainly is plausible now, but you started with “Even if Trump loses in 2020...” Any situation bad enough that could result in a Trump loss in 2020 could also endanger more than 2-3 R. Senate seats. But I am not expecting such a bad scenario... we just need Rs to pull together and MAGA.
