Political correct stupidity is this.
During the last Iraq war my son was a combat medic. He is also a weight lifter. His unit loved him and protected their doc. They knew if it got bad their doc could lift and carry their wounded body and then save their ass. He did not carry a rifle just his side arm. He needed his hands free. Few women can do this.
When back at camp his men would tell him to lift weights and eat.
Today he is an rn with the va. He will be a nurse practioner in a few months. He is still taking care of his boys but most of them r Vietnam vets and a few from ww11

Used to see personalized license plates when stationed at Beale AFB in the early 80s with the LCWB belonging to our “Sirs” that were Academy graduates from that class in the 349th AREFS and 350th AREFS parking lots. It always made me smile as most folks on base didn’t have a clue about the origin.

Adding a female platoon, even what is essentially a combat-reinforced platoon, to an all male battalion is almost insignificant - at least before a casualty count.
But if they trained together at the fire team, level and the results were measured objectively, it would reveal the (unworkable) realities of how well females operate under the stressful circumstances of an environment specifically designed to favor males.

You have to go back to the 50s and 60s for the fast forward portion of the cultural revolution. Think MKUltra and the CIA. Their goal was to find ways to culturally change nations and destroy family cohesion. Congress shut them down but they just moved to Canada. But I don’t think they are the ones in charge.

Furthermore, I do not see how ANY MALE RECRUIT can respect a female Drill Instructor that cannot even pass the same P.T. test that males Marines have to pass. It REEKS of P.C. crap.

It make me wonder if now the Marines will have to change physically challenging exercises and drills to accommodate the women folk?

Women do have a place in our armed forces as support. This frees up a man with sufficient upper body strength to be a warrior on the field of battle. This is good.
I have no problem with a female combat pilot so long as the same standards of proficiency in training is applied to them. It does not take a lot of strength to fly a jet. If they can fly it and have the killer instinct, this is okay.
In close combat on the field of battle a womans presence changes the psychology of the men. It is instinctive to protect a woman and thus degrades fighting efficiency.
In the air a woman combat pilot is just another fighting aircraft and does not change the psychology of air combat.

LOL!! Exactly!! That is one reason they are not putting ladies on the boomers anymore. Too much time in a close space. Probability of pregnancy is high.

Women take up the easy REMF jobs that are supposed to be the reward for taking arduous assignments. If you have never been in the military you would know this. It isn't fair and it sucks.
Women should not be it the military except for the medical services.
