Use common sense, and use a bike of such height that both your feet can touch the ground when sitting in the saddle. Your chances of falling become much less.
And watch your speed going downhill! Keep braking BEFORE the bike picks up lot of speed.
I fell on a 2 foot slippery & muddy slope and by reflex action tried to break my fall with hands. Bad move, because hurt my wrist and it is never going to heal completely, because it is till painful at certain angles after 4 years.
Best way to fall is like football players do, roll on your back.
Geez; you’re practically a war veteran with all those injuries.
Nah, I wouldn’t say that at all. They go through far worse than I ever will.
You’ve got a great attitude. Good luck with your recovery!
I’ve been through worse, that’s why. (Four major lower back surgeries, learning how to walk again, two knees, broken elbow) and I’ve bounced back from it all. I’m the luckiest guy I know!
The entire education system is a tool for leftist indoctrination, discrimination against whites, males and is anti free speech. WTF has Ms DeVos done about it?
OUCH. Sorry to read this. I had a hard year with a spine issue, and it took a while to get to full recovery. But your year sounds worse.
Getting old might indeed suck...
...but it beats the alternative!
