So, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has announced she’s running for president. She’s a hard-core liberal. One of the faces of the progressive left in the Democratic Party. Maybe a tinge (using it very loosely here) more moderate than Bernie Sanders, but still pretty far left. So, there should be hyper-enthusiasm, right? She’s a Democrat, a liberal, and a woman, the three things that are defining the party right now. The future is female supporters must be flocking to her banner, right? Nope. The Warren wave is registering a whopping zero on the enthusiasm scale, and voters in Massachusetts who know her don’t like her compared to the other Democrats running. On CNN yesterday, host Alisyn Camerota asked Washington Postreporter if the Ready for Warren cohorts are jacked up—and no one is about Warren 2020. Umm…ouch (via NTK Network):
Camerota asked Linskey, who previously reported for Warren’s hometown Boston Globe, if she sensed the same hunger for Warren to run for president today as there was in 2016.
“I think that has changed a little bit. I think there is some truth to that,” Linskey said. “You look back to 2015 and the run-up to the 2016 election, and there was this organization, ‘Ready for Warren,’ really pushing her to run.”
Linskey noted that during many of Warren’s speeches in 2105, she was often interrupted by people urging her to run for president.
“That sort of enthusiasm…we haven’t detected it much yet,” Linskey said about Warren’s 2020 run.
Okay—let’s cut her some slack, right? It’s very early, the field is bound to be anywhere from 50-70 people deep, all of them left-wing loons, and a few prominent liberals are going to run as well, like former Vice President Joe Biden. It could be that the vote is being splintered in several different directions, preventing the base from uniting behind one definitive candidate. Or it could be that Warren sucks. She totally embarrassed herself by releasing a DNA test showing that she’s1/1024thNative American, meaning she’s just some white woman who lied about her heritage. She culturally appropriated the Cherokee Nation. That’s a cardinal sin in liberal land. As feminist writer Camille Paglia said prior to Warren’s official announcement in December, “Screechy Elizabeth Warren has never had a snowball’s chance in hell to appeal beyond upper-middle-class professionals of her glossy stripe.”

She might be right—and Warren might know this as well. She tried to show her down to earth roots by cooking and drinking beer on Instagram on New Years Eve. She drinks beer, folks. She’s obviously a person of the people, not some over-educated academic elitist that caters to a certain slice of the electorate that is just as awful and tend to be liberal and live in the northeast. Oh wait—that’s exactly what Warren is. How do you do, fellow kids?

That person will have the entire (all of it) media and social media as well as print in full support transmitting nothing but accolades and mana from wherever there current god resides.
Also will have the built in support of over 50 million rat voters.
To that add all disgruntled never Trumpers and their ilk.
That is what the President will need to overcome, same as 2016.
What will matter is the ability to handle the President in public, live, on national stages, but only for those that are not yet set in their choice, which is a small number in the middle.
That person has not yet materialized.
Okay, maybe she does have a chance to win this thing.
All she has to do is make a claim of having black DNA in her body, and perhaps some Hispanic DNA too. Then, she can claim to be related to everybody, especially after she mentions that she sympathizes with Muslims and Jews and Christians. And, she’ll downplay the American native DNA, since she would need to diversify from her past.
