Elizabeth Warren obviously has no concept of the damage she already has done to her future in national politics by revealing her DNA test results showing that she has less Native America DNA than the average citizen of this country. How else could she have issued her bizarre Instagram video announcing her presidential campaign? The live-feed video she posted to Instagram (but did not archive) lives on and has made her into a national joke, confirming that deep down, the genuine, authentic Elizabeth Warren is a phony.
The estimable William A. Jacobson of Legal Insurrection dubs the video her "Dukakis Tank Moment," a judgment shared by Boston Herald columnist Jaclyn Cashman.

That was a hilarious acting job by her. I guess she expects us to believe she’s really just a regular gal. It reminded me of Lurch in the 2004 Presidential campaign. ‘Can I get me a huntin’ license?’

This video and other leftists trying to be one with the people just point out how unique Donald J. Trump is. He doesn’t hide who he is as a politician. He doesn’t try to be someone he’s not. In point of fact he revels in it. He’s a billionaire who’s built things all over the world. He’s had multiple marriages and questionable dalliances with women. He’s genuine. The author needs to educate themselves. Lizzy Warren is 100% Native American. So am I. She is not, however, American Indian.
Lieawatha lost the millennial left-wing vote the second they saw on the video that her beer of choice comes with a twist off top. How uncouth. It was rather disturbing to myself as well.
Yet I know people who, when patronized like this, swallow it whole and applaud it. Sheer ignorance.

We have to stop perpetuating this misleading line. Warren’s DNA test showed a broad spectrum of possibility that included Caribbean, south American, central American, north American, and sino-russian peoples.
The tribal councils have ALWAYS made it known that American Indian heritage is proven by lineage of blood and tribal pride, not chemical tests.
To a tribe, that heritage MUST be accompanied by proud personal actions encouraging the Indian heritage through generations. Dangling a “dream catcher” from your rear-view doesn’t count, kimosabe.
Many, like myself, have a provable lineage but, cultural values of my near-time ancestors eschewed the tribal pride needed to be included as “American Indian”.
The most authentic thing about the video, in fact, was its bogusness: Warren once again trying to pretend she is something she is not.
