Okay, was I shocked that Mitt Romney came out with his January 1st OPED in the Washington Post bashing the President? No…I just thought it would have been a few weeks before he went all Jeff Flake 2.0 against the President.
Geez Mitt, we don’t need any more surrender monkeys!
So Mitt, how do you want us to remember you, Mitt “Benedict Arnold” Romney or Mitt “Neville Chamberlain” Romney…Because right now, most real Americans that watched you run and fail for president don’t see this as your brightest moment, they see this as your bitter sour grapes moment, face it, you lost, get over it and move on, but support your president.
Will anyone/can anyone defend his actions?
I for one cannot – He is a failed nominee for president, who refused to fight back when attacked by the opposition party and lost, period, full stop!!!
He is now reminding us about how much we hated Jeff Flake!
He still thinks this is a fair fight…The problem with Romney and the rest of the nevertrumpers, whatever that means, is that he still thinks that there is respect and decorum in congress (house and senate) and that if the republicans just lead a little more with their chins that the democrats won’t hit them, “this time.”
He thinks that we are fighting with the Marquess of Queensberry Rules while the democrats have/are waging all-out war against everyone and everything conservative – How is it that such a supposedly intelligent man does not get or understand that only President Donald Trump stands a chance against these people because he fights back and they hate it.
How is it that someone that believes he is so politically savvy, has not seen enough to know that any good will or good deed done by any republican/conservative will only be met with punishment and viewed as a sign of weakness by the liberals/democrats.
There are no more opportunities to compromise with democrats anymore, if there ever was. They have a view/vision of the new world order and it most certainly does not include “self-governing.”
C’mon Mitt, wake up, you are either really politically naive or you are part of the globalist movement.

Okay Mitt, where you awake during the eight long grueling divisive years of obama, where you paying attention to all of the obama rhetoric…The threats, the violence perpetrated in the name of “social justice.” Ferguson and Eric Holders charge to foment anger and outrage. Dallas where police where shot and killed because of black lives matter mob violence…Jesus Christ man, wake up….You got you’re a$$ handed to you by obama and all the lies they told about you….What have you learned, apparently nothing.
President Trump may be a lot of things but at least I know who’s side he is on – America’s side and he is willing to fight for it!! Are you Mitt? Are you willing to fight for the America that represents “our better angels.” Because that most certainly doesn’t include apologizing for Americas greatness or apologizing for standing up for and defending ourselves.
I suppose you would/could support him but that would put you on the same side as America!
So Mitt, you need to decide if you are going to be part of the solution (defend our president) or part of the problem (stand with Chuck and Nancy), your call, but you are not off to a great start.

IMO it’s a good thing. The Republican Party needs to go away and be reformed in a MAGA image. I keep telling my NeverTrumper relatives that “there just aren’t enough of you guys around to win elections anymore”.
If you force me to defend him the best thing I can say is that at least he made a criticism based on an actual issue. All the Democrats do is scream that Trump is Hitler.

What I see with these old-line Republican establishment types is that they operate as if there is political decorum of the sort that has been gone from the scene, at least where Dem treatment of Republicans is concerned, at least since the Bork hearings. And obvious to anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together since the Clarence Thomas hearings.
So they’re upset that Trump isn’t playing by the Marquis of Queensbury fight rules, when we’ve been in a dirty street fight for decades now. It’s insanity.
