Washington is already taking sides in the battle between President Trump and incoming Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, with Trump ally Sen. Rand Paul slamming the 2012 GOP presidential nominee.
Paul tweeted that Romney is a “Big Government Republican” and a faux conservative, and a top Paul aide said that Trump is delivering on his promises.

I think it speaks volumes the first thing Romney does as a Senator is bash Trump. You have to have blinders on to think that Trump is the cause of all the division in the country after watching the temper tantrum the Left has thrown since his election. Guys like Romney are the problem. He will throw the people who elected him under-the-bus for a puff-piece in the NY Times or WAPO.
It sounds like Rand has chosen.
Battle lines being drawn. You’re either with Trump or you’re with Romney and the Democrats.
I can’t think if any republican who has come forward to support Mitt’s statements. Not even the Bush Era RINO contingent. Maybe I overlooked some.

I already knew Mittens will backstab Trump after he became senator. At least with Mccain, you knew he was Judas. After what Trump did to this asshole to help him and extend a hand after the election, it was a stupid thing to do.

Well, I don’t trust Paul on foreign relations and defense. But he’s fire right about some things including this. Romney has been acting like a super prick since he threw the 2012 election
