Mitt resents people who have more money than he does.
They are not blind to the issues of the voters, they are diametrically opposed to securing the borders and enforcing the laws.
They INVITED those 30 million illegal aliens here with their 30 year bipartisan policy of non-enforcement.

I remember the 2012 debates where Romney clobbered Obama in the first debate and then became Captain Milquetoast in the next debate.
It was, as if, Romney had been told by his ‘puppet masters’ following that 2012 debate that he was only ‘running’ for President and should not even consider ‘becoming’ President.
Trump has always tried to work with republicans.
It’s a subtle and very effective message. Trump is painting ROMNEY as the one who is out of touch with Americans.
Romney has nothing to gain politically. I suspect he is only doing this for self aggrandizement and liberal media fawning. He can be the leader of the very small group of RINO’s who want to over throw Trump. It’s like being the leader of the quartet playing on the Titanic as she sunk.
Right. For Trump, there is no upside to engaging in a public mud fight with a prominent Republican who is just starting his six-year term.
President Trump is taking the high road and since Romney holds one of the Senate votes; it’s a good move.
But Romney is clearly intent on being the worst of the Flake-McCain lot.
Trump understands Bush League Republicans very well. He also knows the political landscape very well, too. Do you think there was any chance in hell that Romney was going to lose that senate race — with or without Trump’s endorsement?
The other choice in the primary, Kennedy, would have been a better alternative.

This is all too true. Open borders and flexible or non enforcement of immigration laws. Pres Trump and the millions of Americans who voted for him are the last obstacle to the destruction of this Republic by the globalist uniparty. Mitt Romney has been selected to do as much damage to Pres Trump and the US voters as he can accomplish.

Trump does not waste time with losers, and in this case Kennedy was a loser from the start.
