Banning means nothing to the murderous muzzies (SPIT!); it’ll continue in the shadows.
That’s good news.
Kosher slaughter (when done correctly and there are bad actors) is far more humane than regular slaughter. Its all about not permitting the animal to suffer.
I suspect it was included to avoid problems with the savages.
The Bible forbids eating or drinking anything whose formulation/prep came in the form of a *sacrifice*:
Every Hallal killing requires recitation of a brief religious homage, noting that the animal is made in SACRIFICE.
“Animals must be stunned first” — thereby stiffening the meat. Idiots.
Yeah, they took care of the kosher issue in the 40s.
Not suggesting they do the same to halal. Can they still kill chickens with an axe?
If the drop in blood pressure is fast enough, unconsciousness is immediate. On stunning, if that’s done properly, the animal will also bleed out. Granted, stunning is not described as part of the process in the Bible. Stunning would have been difficult and uncertain without firearms or other equipment made for the task.
It’s like banning circumcision. (Have they?) Totally anti-Semitic.
And for all the issues with Halal, I know of Christian/secular owned Middle Eastern restaurants that ship meat from Halal butchers.
Hmm...
Concerned about the anti Jewish implications here.
Maybe soybeans and high-lysine maize will found to be both halal and kosher, and become a balanced protein component of the diets of both Muslim and Jewish. Of course, they could also consume eggs or processed dairy products, provided these also meet the dietary rules.
Or the Muslims could simply turn to cannibalism.
The creator gave us kosher methods for animal slaughter. Its interesting to see europe and other back to registering jewish and those that support the creator. There is nothing new under the sun.
Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland already ban kosher slaughter.
Humane killing is key and I could care less about religion, etc.
Prediction: Belgium won’t enforce the rule against the Muzzies, but will against the Jews.
The kosher method of butchering food animals is considered to be the very least- painful and quickest way possible ( without anesthetic type drugging the creatures, of course) the idea includes showing respect for the animals and for life, their feelings, etc. the standard method of industrial butchering, by contrast, is imho horrid and cruel. ( I cant speak to Belgium or Islamic butchering, other then to hope its at lest less cruel then how they butcher Christians )
This takes me back to my childhood. My grandfather with uncles help would catch the pigs and hang them from hooks in the center of the barn and just slice their heads off and let them bleed out. Judging from the squealing the process of being caught and hanged was worse than the throat cutting. Farmers did the same thing with beef. Killed and dressed and cured. By the time I grew up and was a farmer’s wife we had the beef butchered and frozen in the same warehouse. We had to go there to pick up what we needed from the freezer for the week. Yep, had to go to town every Saturday.
A lot more than 5-7%, probably 15-20%. Belgium is basically in a race with Sweden to be the first country in Western Europe to transition to Islam. Most of the money is on Belgium because it’s not really a single country or culture, but instead was put together after WW2.
Banning of Kosher isn’t a problem, the remaining Jews will still fund the political parties that are flooding their country with the new arrivals - that’s just who they are.
Banning Halal is ANOTHER STORY and after a couple of subway lines in Brussels get blasted, the government there will likely reconsider the idea.
