One months from now, most of the contenders for the 2020 Democratic nomination will have officially declared their intention to run, according to NBC News. In a report published Friday, NBC News said that Senators Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Corey Booker are all planning to announce their campaigns next month, while a handful of other contenders are also gearing up for campaign launches of their own.
The reason candidates are planning to announce so early in the cycle really comes down to one factor: Money, as NBC explained. Particularly in what's expected to be an intense battle of attrition between potentially more than a dozen candidates, the candidates with the biggest purses will have a distinct advantage.
Many potential Democratic candidates have circled January or early February on their calendars as the ideal launch window — early enough to try to raise an impressive amount of money in the first quarter of the year without stepping on November's midterm elections.
Meanwhile, Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Cory Booker of New Jersey and Kamala Harris of California are all also quietly preparing for potential campaign launches in early 2019, people close to them have said.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders - the two leading candidates according to the opinion polls - have said they will decide whether to seek the nomination by the end of next month. According to the latest poll of likely Iowa caucus-goers, Biden holds a commanding lead. However, many politicos have pointed to his age (he's currently 76) as a factor (even though another poll showed that Biden is the only serious Democratic contender who would have a chance against Trump).

The spending for the Democrat nomination will be so large that it will have to be announced in gross units, like Light Years or Parsecs, or Border Walls, so that normal people can understand the amounts.

A man like Biden is immune from embarrassment. All those photos are already out there. They mean nothing to Biden and even less to the media. As one celebrity commented on them, “That’s just Joe being Joe.” A Democrat has a pass on any #metoo or embarrassing photo. They can only be used against conservatives.
One of them will be VP material along with Beta male. Clinton vs Obama will be the communist party primary.

And none of these will likely achieve the abomination nomination.

I suspect that Hillary will try to get in somehow.. it would depend on the amount of blowback she gets when she starts making noises.
Her chitchat tour is designed to measure that blowback. March and April of next year are critical times for the whole crowd on the democRATS side and she can bomb throw from her scripted pulpit to her brainwashed following. She can screech “See look at how crazy they are...” without having to get into the ring with them
I would have said Cory would be the first to drop out, but it’s so hard to believe Warren would run after DNATestGate that she may be the first to go.
Hillanasty is going to defeat Trump by entering the race 4 wks before the election? All the Trump campaign would need to do is to buy some prime time and re-broadcast the “debates” from 2016 just to refresh everyone’s memory about just how inept a candidate and how bad a president she would be!

Cannot wait to vote for President Trump again in 2020, albeit my vote will simply be toward his national popular tally as my state of Maryland will remain a big blue mess.
The notion that Natural Born Citizen status required both parents to be U.S. citizens at time of birth was a "Plan B" of sorts in the event the "Born in Kenya" conspiracy fell apart (not that even a Kenyan birth certificate would have changed things). It has never enjoyed support outside of a small fringe of anti-Obama activists (though I'm sure that if Donald Jr or Ivanka would run for president, CNN would take serious look at this).
Realistically, there will be no challenge to the eligibility of someone born in America of non-citizen parents.
The people arguing she's ineligible would not vote for her for any reason. There will not be a single voter that she loses over this.
Personally, I think the Democrats would be foolish to rally behind Kamala Harris for reasons that have nothing to do with questions of her eligibility. She's a loathsome, angry, scowling woman. Uninspiring and bereft of ideas, she would energize in opposition the same "Anybody but Hillary" voters who helped propel Donald Trump to victory. And she's got plenty of skeletons in her closet.
