Something our America hating liberals will not allow our military to do.
They would prefer another Viet Nam debacle.
LOL! The Turks have different Rules of Engagement. Look up what the Turks did to thieves during the Korean war.
People like Mattis don’t think so. His knowledge costs for something. I don’t think it matters to Trump. Let them kill our enemies. Cheaper that way.
LOL
we’re f..king the Kurds again. Like after the gulf war.
but hey as long as your dinner is hot don’t worry.
that was sarcasm
again, F### the kurds!!! :)
they’re not even people!!
they SINGLE HANDEDLY FOUGHT ISIS UNTIL RUSSIA STEPPED IN AND THEN TRUMP BUT #### EM!!
OUR CHRISTMAS DINNERS WILL BE TASTY TODAY!!
THE COLDNESS ON THIS BOARD SICKENS ME SOMETIMES.
The Kurds would have to guarantee to recognize Israel and provide a home to all middle east Christians before a finger should be lifted. They don’t want it that bad.
If you go to early September and review an independent map of who controls what....there are two areas of Syria with ISIS thugs still running around. One area is about the size of Baltimore city...the second is in western Syria and about 1,000 square miles.
But here is the key thing....out of all of Syria...the maps all go into seven different ‘controllers’ (Assad, Turks, Kurds, etc). None of the seven can reach any one-nation status....nor is it the US job to bring them to a one-nation status. Someone has to go and annihilate enough folks so there’s only one single controller. The rest just need to escape or give up.

Turkey is also right 'next door' from Kurdistan, a priceless ally who has aided us more in the fight against both Assad and ISIL than some wanna be Turkish thug ever could.

Erdogan is to be trusted with NOTHING! But to LIE.
I consider the news source as total hot air.
Trump statement may be correct. What is said about Trump's statement is not.
There’s an easy test for whether we should help or trust middle easteners (or anyone else in the world). Can two young blond tourists hike across the countryside without having their throats slit. Even though the Kurds have greater respect for women than other Muslims, the answer is unfortunately probably not.
Turkey Will Eradicate Whatever Is Left Of ISIS
Umm, you spelled “support and finance” wrong.
Turkey Will Eradicate Whatever Is Left Of ISIS by enfolding it into Turkey’s regular army as a special operations group ...
We've been trying to get the Kurds to come to some-type of power-sharing agreement with Turkey - apparently they have stead-fast refused to enter into ANY negotiations with Turkey. Why should they, we are always there.
Trump says no, we're not always there - Kurds had plenty of time to make a deal while we were there (our presence would assure them of better bargaining position).
That is all (mostly) gone now. Sure, the Kurds have gotten screwed in the past (see HW Bush), but they are not the sainted ones on this planet, either - so be careful about putting the Kurds on some higher plane.
They have valiantly fought along side us, but remember, that wasn't for us, it was for themselves.
The Kurdish issue predates our own country - this is not our fight.
The one on our southern border is.
I bet Mark Levin is going to be screeching about this.
Deals with the turkish caliphate folks are questionable. Just like those chuck n nancy deals last year didn’t pay off, this has little chance also.
So what do we get in return?
Didn’t turkish prez guards kick some Americans around a few months ago?
Turkey spells "ISIS" K-u-r-d-s.
I think Mattis, in his arrogance, viewed himself more qualified to make the critical policy decisions than than the upstart, uninitiated Trump.
Maybe he should run for president.
Cruz was keynoting a gala for In Defense of Christians (IDC),...This week, IDC is hosting a three-day Summit, a conference bringing together a range of Middle Eastern ChristiansOrthodox, Catholic, Coptic, Syriac, Lebanese, Assyrian, to name a few...Cruz initially received applause for his opening remarks that the group was united in defense of Christians, Jews,...Things turned sour within minutes..."And today Christians have no better ally than the Jewish state."...His audience at the Omni Shoreham Hotel began to boo...The booing got louder...With that, Cruz walked off stage.
