I don’t know, man. After reading most of the Wiki article you linked to, one might be too charitable to call it the greatest of all time.

Not so much for the performances as for the works that were introduced.

I thought this article was about the Allman Brothers at Fillmore East.
Greatest live rock album of all time.

Although influenced by the recent release of Bohemian Raposdy, I would have to say LiveAid was the greatest concert ever. I actually, don’t remember the Queen performance and my have not been part of the US broadcast but the totality of top name muscians and thier performances make it an event that surpassed previous and will never be duplicated.

This was back when MTV actually played music.

He had phenomenal musical imagination. He kept doing the unexpected, thereby charting new waters for other musically-minded geniuses to explore.
He’s my favorite. The 6th and “Emperor” I know by heart — they are always fresh and new every time.

During LVB’s intro concert for his 7th Symphony, after the heart-wrenching 2nd movement, the audience erupted in applause, and demanded an encore not once, but TWICE, before the concert could complete. Afterwards, the sheet music became the best-selling of all time.
