I think Mitch just gave them every opportunity to do the right thing...and at the same time...show everyone what a bunch of hateful politicians the Dems are.
I would like to think McConnell would do the right thing, but he had two years to do a lot of right things and took a pass.
He and Ryan made complete fools out of themselves, and revealed how deep the treachery goes within our own party.
Nuclear option will be easier after the new congress comes in...unfortunately house will be harder at that point.
