It must have been somebody's dumb joke. Harris doesn't have that many relatives in the US. Her mother is Indian and her father is Jamaican. Maxine is all-American.

When liberals/leftists gain control here in this country, it could be your female family members who are doing what these women are doing. They are not at our border demanding to be let into this country. They are in their neighboring country Columbia looking for a way to survive. They are not even asking that the Colombian officials take care of them. Far different than what we are experiencing here with illegal immigration. This is a serious problem, created by the the politicians, and sadly we just elected a slew of them in our country who propose the same “fixes” that were applied in Venezuela. Learn to recognize the difference between what is happening there, and what is happening at our southern border. They are as different as night & day.

Not necessarily. But even if they did, they were too ignorant to realize anyway. Note, do not equate ignorant with uneducated. We have plenty of those classified as millennial, who are educated but remain ignorant nonetheless. They are not limited to just that classification either, lots of ignorant baby boomers and those in between those two classifications also grace this country. Many make up the resistors that want open borders and Hillary Clinton as this nation's president.

But my guess is that if they were educated and not ignorant they probably did not vote for Hugo Chávez or even the leaders they got subsequent to Hugo Chávez.

In fact, once the criminal thug Hugo Chávez won election, he guaranteed the opposition party would never win another election. It will take a war now to get their country back.

With the last midterm elections we had, the writing is on the wall that America may soon follow suit. It we do, within 20-30 years this country will be as bad off as Venezuela is now.

Thanks Baynative. This is another kind of coverage used to build opposition to the wall. Suffering under the Venezuelan dictatorship has been going on since Zero was POTUS, but the failure of that despotism doesn't fit the narrative.
