Mr. Ginsburg... who died several years ago...

In that case, I double down on my initial comment that they need to spend more time together!

The type of cancer associated with smoking is small cell carcinoma, which is inoperable. It sounds like these were discrete tumors, so a different type of cancer.

They removed the wrong tumor. Missed the giant one in her head.

Driver! To the hospital, quickly! “Rebook her, Dano”.

My old boss had quit smoking at age 50, but by age 70 (he was still our CEO) he got lung cancer and it did metastize to his brain. And killed him.

“It sounds like these were discrete tumors, so a different type of cancer.”

It seems a bit morbid to speculate but it seems odd they would perform a risky operation on a 85 year old to remove
2 tumors. Seems more likely they were checking for the presence of Cancer.

Remember Robert Byrd? I think they carried him into the senate and held his hand up for him so he could vote..

After US Senator, Supreme Court Justice is probably the sweetest gig. No one wants to give that up easily. It’s the rare person that does.

Genetics? Healthy diet and exercise? Love?

No. Evidently, exercising power is what drives a person to cling to life past their expected expiration date.

“I sort of feel sorry for Ginsburg. I mean, can you imagine having cancer at ~85 years old, and being under the pressure she will be from half the country to keep working? She is literally a prisoner to the people on the left.”

But can you imagine easier “work”?

As a known Leftist on the court, she just sides with the other leftists. She doesn’t even have to think - her “opinion” is 100% preordained and predictable.

She doesn’t even have to be present, or stay awake to keep her job, apparently.

She has metasticizing cancer. She’ll “be back” but will simply try to hold her head up through arguments, and then go back to her death bed while her staff try to figure out what to write for her.

I have not seen RBG as a patient, but in terms, not of averages but, let’s say the 90%ile - she will probably not be in office in a year.

This will of course accelerate pressure on those running the coup to get Trump out of office before then. I somehow think VP “Shock the Gay Away” Pence is not being as helpful as he might to his boss.

She probably likes vaguely worded clauses that permit the unlimited encroachment of governmental power, such as “Everyone has the right to an environment that is not harmful to their health or well-being;”

Or totalitarian clauses such as this: “The rights in the Bill of Rights may be limited ... to the extent that the limitation is reasonable and justifiable in an open and democratic society “

But does she know that the South African constitution defines the “right to privacy” in a way that quite obviously doesn’t refer to abortion? Does she know that the SA cons expressly permits religious observation and instruction at state-funded events and institutions? That religious observation trumps regulation? That holds that a right to a passport is an inalienable right?
