Regulating elections is not an enumerated power for the federal government in the Constitution. Administration of elections is a power reserved to the states and the people.
The founders viewed the states as being different. Under the Constitution if one chooses one party government, a voting age of 15, voting by internet, same day registration, or government paid medical care for all, so be it. If the state tries something that does’t work, the people should pressure their elected representatives to change. If the majority of people of the state fail to take action, they will live with the consequences.
It’s the duty of legal citizen voters to elect a patriot Congress that will actually do its duty to stop renegade states like California. So when are the voters going to do their duty so that Congress will do its duties?
The ill-conceived 17th Amendment desperately needs to be repealed yesterday.
The 16th Amendment can disappear too.

California must either be brought to heel or all federal connections severed. With connections severed, California can not rely on it’s bought and payed for judges to grnt salvation.

Here are a few examples of what ism left unaddressed from Trump’s first two years in office.
Kevin De (added to sound more ethnic) Leon president of the state senate announced on the floor of the senate he helped the illegal half of his family enter the country and stay.
The mayor of Oakland announced ICE raids in advance endangering officers and neighbors. Interfering with space officer sin the line of duty.
The AG threatened businesses if they din’t tell the employees about raids and if they cooperated with ICE.
Statewide sanctuary.
No arrests, no investigations, no public official in jail.
The feds called for election records in Feb of 2017. Cal is one of 17 states who refused. No follow-up no sanctions. In Cal it was reported 7 counties had more ballots than registered voters. No court or fine action.
There is an organized effort in Cal called La Reconquista the goal of which is to have Mexico retake he southwest of the uS. It has been around 30-35 years. De Leon is the current leader.
To ask Trump to do anything about California is pissing in the wind.
