And that’s the way that the appropriators came up with a mechanism that would allow another roughly billion dollars to be used for border security, but limited to border security measures other than a fence, other than a border wall, which is what the Democrats have been advocating for.”

These guys are all liars, both sides. So when Thune says “there’s a billion dollars for border security” I note that he didn’t say “additional dollars” and he used the generic “border security” not wall. So I am assuming, since he’s a liar as they all are, that he’s lying. And thus I further assume that he’s talking about money that already was going to border security, like funding ICE and the Border Patrol.
Exactly and the $5b the Houe passed couldn’t be used for any wall, just “border security.” These Congressmen really suck.
So the GOP GETS another closet Democrat as a leader.

When I interned for a Congressman he arranged for the Capital Architect to take us on a tour of the rotunda all the way to the top, outside, just under the “Statue of Freedom.” There is plenty of lightning protections built in, considering the dome was made from cast iron painted to look like stone, though up close you could see marks from lightning strikes. Like a giant lightning rod - tallest point around (but for the Washington Memorial).
What was the fund Obama used to send the 150 bil in cash to Iran? Can’t Trump use that same fund to build the wall?
Maybe Iran can loan us $25B to build the wall.
