The US is planning a total withdrawal of its military forces from Syria... “We have defeated ISIS in Syria, my only reason for being there during the Trump Presidency,” the president tweeted Wednesday morning.

Wow, it’s about time. Leaving US troops there only adds fuel to that fire.

I suspect a deal was made with Russia vis-a-vis toning down the vole in Ukraine/black Sea. Erdogan was a non-factor in withdrawl. Plus Trump saw no good reason to stay and mop up. He probably got a commitment from the russiams to do it for us.

I love this decision, but I SERIOUSLY doubt the Deep State will let it happen. They want us to be there. They are allied with the Jihadists, in fact. Watch for another staged chem attack by them to be blamed on the Syrian govt.

I doubt this is going to happen. When State Dep’t and Military say we are in for the foreseeable future, and we have eleven, IIRC “bases” there, and we are stealing their oil..
Plus, Israel wants us there.
