Over 100 journalists were killed during performing their professional duties in 2018, the non-governmental organization Press Emblem Campaign (PEC). The largest number of casualties among media employees was recorded in Afghanistan (17 killed), Mexico (17).

Four so-called journalists were killed in Annapolis, Maryland, on June 28, 2018. They were reporters for The Capital, and were victims of a mass shooting at the newspaper's office.
Well, they all want to be part of the story instead of just reporting it. They are getting their wish.
CNN has nothing to fear. They have no journalists.

Exactly. Real journalists who are killed fighting true corruption in cesspool countries should be honored.
Unfortunately, CNN (and most American so-called journalists) think shooting spitballs at Trump “scandals” from the comfort and safety of Georgetown and Upper West Side watering holes amount to bravery.
How many convivence store employees has been killed this year?
What makes journalists more valuable and important than convivence store owners and operators?
The Clintons killed a couple of people during the last election. Many more before that. Shot one in the back and the other dropped a barbell on a guys throat who was scheduled to testify against the Clintons in 2 days.
Imagine if she was president. Mexican news sites would be writing about how bad it is in the US and caution their people from going there.
