A gun safety instructor for Michael Bloomberg-funded Moms Demand Action held a pistol by the tip of the barrel during a meeting with the League of Women Voters in Lewiston, Pennsylvania.
The Lewiston Tribune reports that the instructor, Marcia Banta, was at the Moms Demand meeting, held at the Lewiston City Library, as part of an overarching campaign to [encourage] responsible gun ownership:

um.... so?
Was the gun cleared?
The only cardinal rue is never point it at anyone or anything. (that you don’t want to die, that is)
Apparently a pellet gun but still capable of putting your eye out.
No big deal....after you see the pic.
I recall reading a few years back that a hidden camera video often used by firearms prohibitionists that featured children playing dangerously with a firearm discovered in a home (was supposed to be hidden by an adult until the kids found it) was debunked by having kids who grew up with firearms in the home and were taught important safety instructions regarding them being shown to be very cautious with the discovered firearm and that they were made upset by the kids being dangerous or irresponsible with it. The fallaciousness of these people just seems to keep writing itself over and over.
Her presentation is a little clumsy, but it doesn’t top some other Bad Gun Instructor videos I’ve seen.
I recall one where this guy was training a classroom of teenagers, and he actually shot himself in the arm.
Worst part was, he insisted on continuing with the Safety Lesson. The kids in the classroom all ran out screaming and laughing.
Where’s the Kerry pic?
That’s misleading. Obviously this woman was using that pellet gun to repair the podium. She was hammering a screw in that was loose.
And THAT is the proper way to hold a firearm when using it as a hammer to tighten a screw.
I’m not quite getting the visual or the sequence of what you’re saying. I’ll just read it again after some coffee.
Yeh....get the two dumb a**** mixed up sometimes.
Given how guns have a tendency to go off by themselves, like in the hands of an illegal with a criminal record in San Francisco, this is probably not a good idea.
1. All firearms are assumed to be loaded.
2. Do not point the muzzle at anything you don’t intend to fire at.
3. Know your target and what is behind it.
4. Finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
Flagrant violations of 2 and 3. She would be ejected from any gun range I’d ever been to for being an extreme hazard to the people around her.
Pardon me, the intent of my comment was to say that kids who grew up with the safe and responsible use of firearms were shown (in a challenge to the previously said video) to handle a found gun in that safe and responsible manner and were also seen to have been made upset by other kids being dangerous or irresponsible with such a found gun.
Yup!
